This blogpost might be a little selfish, but in the end I hope that others can pick up resulting ideas and benefit from them.
Today I want to tell you more about me and the future of this blog.
Who is this guy?
I’m a 25 year old student from Germany and I’m really passionate about writing content for the web in my free time.
I write for several German blogs. Almost all of them are tech related.
English is my second language
Since this is my first blog, where I’m not writing in my native language, I’m very uncertain if people around the globe, especially in countries where English is the first language, are willing to read content of this blog.
Currently I try to improve my grammar in order to sound reasonably legitimate.
Connected in Germany – Where do we go from here?
I have a German twitter account @germanstudent where ~3000 people follow me. But they’re almost all Germans and I think switching to English there wouldn’t be such a great idea.
So should I start a new twitter account, just for connecting to people globally? I’m not such a big fan of multiple twitter accounts, but is there another good way to get in touch with people with similar interests?
What’s the plan?
This December I have a lot of spare time and I want to use a lot of the time to really start off with this blog. Everything I wrote until now is only because I don’t want the visitor to see a page with no content at all.
Is it worth it?
Now my question is: Do I have a chance out there, if I try hard? There are so many great blogs.
Any help is very appreciated
